Frequently Asked Questions

What vaccinations are required?

All dogs must be current on the following vaccinations prior to services:

  • DHLP / DAPP (Parvo & Distemper)

  • Bordetella

  • Rabies

Proof of vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian is required before your pet’s stay or appointment.

What should I bring for boarding?

You may bring your dog’s food, medications, treats, bedding, or comfort items. All medications must be clearly labeled with instructions.

Do you provide food during boarding?

Owners are encouraged to bring their dog’s regular food to help avoid digestive upset. Food can be provided if needed for an additional fee.

What will my dog be doing all day?

Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are our priority. Throughout the day, dogs receive regular interaction, potty breaks, exercise, rest periods, and enrichment activities tailored to their individual needs.

Depending on your dog’s temperament and approved activity level, their day may include:

  • Group play with compatible dogs

  • Individual playtime with staff members

  • Interactive enrichment activities

  • Mental stimulation and structured engagement

  • Outdoor potty breaks throughout the day

  • Relaxation and rest time between activities

Even dogs that do not participate in group play still receive one-on-one attention, enrichment, and individualized care from our staff to ensure they stay active, comfortable, and engaged during their stay.

Will my dog interact with other dogs?

Dogs may participate in daycare or group play if approved based on temperament and behavior. Safety is always our top priority, and not all dogs are placed in group settings.

What happens if my dog does not do well in group play?

If your dog becomes stressed, overwhelmed, or displays unsafe behavior, our staff may remove them from group activities and provide individual accommodations.

Do you allow visitation during boarding or training?

Yes, visitation is allowed; however, we generally do not recommend visits during boarding or training programs.

Visits can sometimes increase stress, confusion, or anxiety for dogs, especially once they begin adjusting to their routine and environment. In some cases, visitation may cause setbacks in behavior, emotional regulation, or training progress.

For dogs experiencing severe separation anxiety, fearfulness, or behavioral challenges, visitation is highly discouraged as it may complicate or delay training and adjustment.

Our goal is always to provide the smoothest and most successful experience possible for your dog.
